nnCustomer Service SupervisornnJOB SUMMARY: nnThe Customer Service Supervisor will build a strong team and shape staff behaviors to accomplish desired results. You will play a collaborative role in growing and implementing standards and processes. You will maintain documentation such as correspondence and operational records, and communicate promotional offers to customers.nnnnESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:nnStrategizing and monitoring daily activities of customer service operationnnTraining staff in areas of customer service and company policiesnnUnderstand, develop, implement, and train others in company processes to include but not limited to quoting,nnimplementation of accounts, and System managementnnCoordinate customer inquiries, complaints and other requests with the Sales and Operations teams tonnfacilitate accurate and timely responsesnnManage a team of customer service agents and key account supervisorsnnInvestigating and solving customer service complaintsnnMaintaining documentation pertaining to customer service department activitiesnnOther duties as requestednnSKILLS/COMPETENCIES:nnCapability to build strong partnerships and to work collaboratively to achieve goalsnnDemonstrated interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsnnEstablished time management and organization skillsnnProficiency in MS OfficennAbility to maintain a high level of enthusiasm and a positive attitudennDetailed oriented and analyticalnnAbility to be outcome oriented focused with strong performance culturennProficient in managing multiple tasks as the same timennHigh standards and clear accountabilitynnEDUCATION:nnBachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Logistics is a plus (3 years working experience in lieu ofnndegree)nnHigh school diploma or equivalent requirednnEXPERIENCE:nn3 years of experience in managerial role; transportation and logistics customer service preferrednn3 Years Supervisor Experiencenn3 Years Customer Service ExperiencennPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:nnThis is a clerical administrative position in a professional office setting.
