sistant Manager for its Alaska retail locations, Full-Time hourly, with medical, dental, PTO, and, 401K benefits.  
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and manage all aspects of daily store operations under the guidance of the Store Manager  
Assist Store Manager in the planning, organizing, and achieving short and long-term goals
Assist in training and developing a successful sales team
Provide feedback, coaching, and accountability to all employees
Assist in recruiting and hiring high caliber employees for all store positions
Effectively communicate all store needs and progress to Store Manager 
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION
Required (Minimum) Qualifications
Must be 18 years or older
High school diploma or equivalent
1 year minimum of management experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficient in point-of-sale (POS) systems
Experienced background in Microsoft Applications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Must be experienced in merchandising for profit, sales, and image
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and, holidays
Preferred
Prior management experience in a retail environment
Knowledge and understanding of loss prevention
Prior experience with inventory control
6 -12 months of sales experience
Background in the building trades
Forklift certification.

Must be physically able to be on your feet, standing, walking, and working on hard concrete and tile floors for full shifts.
Must be able to lift and carry 50# repeatedly, safely, and without unusual strain.
Frequent bending, climbing, kneeling and squatting.
Frequent pulling and stocking inventory items onto carts, or with material handling equipment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 
Job is performed in an indoor retail store setting.
 Exposure to computer screens and requires the use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system.
Occasional travel may be required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and manage all aspects of daily store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
Follow and enforce company policies and procedures for retail operations.
Assist in maintaining store conditions to meet or exceed standards.
Delegate, guide, and provide daily leadership to all employees
Complete all training programs and product curriculums
Resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively
Securely handle and control all cash funds
Open and/or Closing of the store
Inventory Control
Bank Deposits

As a condition of employment, you are required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable references and background check. Must have reliable transportation to/from work.
