Job Summary:
UPS is seeking a dynamic Procurement Process specialist to support Procurement operations initiatives. This position will conduct analysis to understand organizational spending patterns, recommends, develops and implements process improvements within the group. The incumbent collaborates with global, cross-functional UPS teams, leveraging technology and employing critical thinking to drive efficiencies. Responsibilities
Analyzes aspects of the Source to Pay (S2P) process and identifies improvement opportunities
Conducts analysis to understand purchasing patterns and prioritize improvement efforts
Assists in development of project plans (i.e., detailed plan, milestones, and work breakdown structures) assigns tasks to resources to ensure project will be completed on time and according to specifications
Identifies affected functions, groups and works with them to negotiate process changes, ownership of processes, and to manage project impact
Troubleshoots current applications, isolates errors, and takes corrective action to resolve issues
Preferences
Displays ability to understand and use technology
Demonstrates strong analytical skills
Proficient with Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Basic SQL knowledge
Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree)
Minimum 6 months of corporate experience
Possesses previous related work experience
