Senior Delivery Distribution Center Manager
The Senior Delivery Distribution Center Manager provides leadership, support, communication and direction to a Delivery Distribution Center (DDC), warehouse, Product Returns Center (PRC) and any associated cross-dock operations. They ensure company values, operational policies and procedures are understood and followed. This role provides coaching and leadership guidance to all DDC, Warehouse, and PRC management. They are responsible for creating a positive experience for internal and external customers, managing P&L performance, and delivering Service Level Agreement results.
Key Responsibilities:
Directs the activities of a DDC and up to 4 cross-dock operations. These facilities support 90 to 150 retail stores in the area of appliances, consumer electronic sales, service support and return to vendor activities.
Assists in the development of new programs and follows all current SOP standards to ensure performance goals and objectives are met.
Maintains effective communication with customers and business partners through home delivery operations.
Manages all **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. and third-party contractors to support 70,000 to 150,000 home deliveries per year.
Hires, develops, coaches and counsels a management staff of 8 to 20 individuals and indirect staff of 50 to 250.
Creates a positive work environment that promotes creativity, safety and follows company values.
Tracks, measures and controls all levels of service, including quality of service and P&L accountability.
Provides operations leadership and support for additional business and operations. Provides staffing, training, performance management and P&L results.
Develops innovative solutions to meet changing demands in operations and achieve volume, cost, and service level challenges.
Basic Qualifications:
3 years of facility distribution management responsibilities including logistical, operational, warehouse, inventory and customer service experience
2 years in secondary markets, e-commerce fulfillment, or similar experience
2 years of Reverse Logistics operations experience, vendor returns management, and inventory control leadership responsibilities.
