Position Summary

Under Armour is seeking an Assistant Merchant, Americas Merchandising- Factory House to join a passionate and results-oriented Americas Merchandising team. As an Assistant Merchant, this individual will support the Merchant team in anticipating channel needs, understanding the market landscape, and building an assortment that exceeds revenue and profit expectations. A successful Assistant Merchant will partner with Region & Global Merchandising, Merchandise Planning, Allocations, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, and Store Operations to support the execution of our GTM strategy.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities


Partners with Merchants on developing seasonal product assortments.
Identify customer needs & market trends to and communicates them to merchants.
Manages all data entry for product-related attributes across pre-season and in-season documents and systems.
Preform Ad-Hoc reporting to support business analysis.
Reads & reacts to business needs with a sense of urgency.
Foster positive relationships with cross-functional teams including Merch Planning, Allocation, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, and Pricing
Spend time in Market completing competitive shopping analysis and store visits


Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)


Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written & verbal communication. Highly collaborative
Strong analytical and data entry skills
Basic knowledge of retail math
Ability to multi-task; complete multiple projects at one time
Microsoft Excel proficient & Excellent computer skills


Education And / Or Experience


Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail merchandising preferred but other retail experience will be considered.


Other Requirements


Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our global headquarters in Baltimore, MD
Return To Work Designation: 2 days a week in-office, the remainder of work week remote at home
Ability to travel domestically and internationally (5-10%)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite


Relocation

Managed budget: Relocation may be provided up to a specified amount

Compensation

Base salary range: $59,970.00 - $82,460.000

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual’s relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
