Job Summary:
This role is on the Retail Execution team, and will manage financial investments, establish KPI’s based on efficiency, and analyze merchandising results to provide recommendations that drive ROI. The successful candidate must deliver strong growth results through cross functional team members, broker engagement and retail execution while demonstrating the companies 5C’s (commitment, creativity, candor, collaboration and caring) across the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with retail and sales teams to understand how all in-store merchandising actions at the point of purchase drive performance
Analyze current KPI’s (coverage, speed to shelf, void & out of stock performance, cases sold, displays built, etc.) and develop new best-in-class methods to evaluate performance
Define ROI in a confident & logical way to measure investments in retail coverage
Track & monitor monthly contracted spend (contracts & deductions) and incentive performance
Combine external and internal sources of data, leveraging analytical tools to deliver insights that drive action at retail, as well as understand activity impact in the customer cost to serve model
Review current homestore (instore reset) agreements, define reporting and performance expectations
Manage deduction resolution for all grocery retail homestore programs (clearing, tracking, renewals)
Build & maintain a retail prioritization matrix (cost vs. accountability) and work collaboratively with retail and sales teams to hold retailer accountable to agreements
Requirements:
Experience: 5 years business experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree. Sales finance or analytical background preferred
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer Skills: Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel. Power BI experience a plus
Special Skills: A self-starter with ambition that can take a concept and develop process. Ability to work independently; Experience in ROI/efficiency to analyze investment and return; Experience analyzing data & providing actionable insights utilizing retailer/broker data sources and syndicated data (IRI/Nielsen). Strong organization & interpersonal communication skills
Travel: Varies based on candidates’ location. Approximately 30% (market visits and internal meetings)
