POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Retail Analyst is responsible for facilitating the growth of our brands keeping in mind out wholesale goals through the retail planning/analysis of individual accounts (department stores) working in concert with our sales force and communicating through the accounts.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Post weekly sales/stock and AUR results by account, analyze results, and distribute.
Prepare by sales/turn planning by account (by door) with objective to build monthly brand plans by season to ensure wholesale objectives are achieved monitoring using our bookings/goals schedule.
Coordinate with account execs to facilitate building assortment plans to fit within monthly receipt plan to ensure realistic projections are put into production (ACS).
Weekly monitoring of Edi shipments versus retail plan receipts are flowed to achieve plan while tracking sales, markdowns and inventory position by account.
Use corporate reports to streamline job function and monitor replenishment looking for opportunities/issues by account at program/color level.
Analyze market share report (done by retail analysts) by account looking for growth opportunities by door (mall penetration).
Assist Director to project quarterly gross margin assistance/reconciliation by account working in concert with VP’s.
Experience: 3-5 Years of Wholesale or Retail Planning Experience
Education: BBA or BS degree with business background and 5 years analyst experience
Skills:
MS Excel proficiency required
