BUSINESS IMPACT STATEMENT Leads HR support of the Distribution Center location productivity by partnering with Executives to attract, develop and retain an engaged workforce while ensuring compliance with HR corporate, state and federal employment policies

ACCOUNTABILITIES

MANAGE COMPLEX ASSOCIATE RELATIONS PROCESSES FOR ALL ASSOCIATES IN LOCATION


Execute critical, complex and high risk associate relations decisions

Manage all non-routine, time sensitive associate relations concerns. This includes, but is not limited to integrity investigations, responding to EEOC charges, unfit conditions depositions and escalated askHR requests

Serve as the liaison for HRBPs, cross-functional business partners and the Shared Services Center

Serve as a subject matter expert with behavioral, performance, ADA and LOA related concerns

Identify labor relations training for the entire organization


MANAGEMENT OF ASSOCIATES


Manages direct reports, systems and projects to achieve unit goals in accordance with Company policies and practices

Provides leadership by exhibiting influence and expertise

Creates an effective work environment by developing a common vision, setting clear objectives, expecting teamwork, recognizing outstanding performance and maintaining open communications

Develops staff through coaching, providing performance feedback, providing effective performance assessments and establishing performance and development plans


PROVIDE TIMELY FEEDBACK TO ADVISE AND COACH BUSINESS PARTNERS


Maintain effective communication with all internal partners to ensure productivity, morale and performance of Associates and Executives

Listen to Associates concerns and promotes a thorough understanding of policies and procedures Encourage problem resolution through chain of command

Recommend and advise management and staff regarding personnel practices and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal laws

SUPPORTS BUILDING LEADERSHIP WITH HR AND WORKFORCE ISSUES



Partners with the Corporate Shared Services Center (SSC) to answer Associate questions

Manages new Associate onboarding and orientation

Oversees delivery of on-site training of HR, Compliance and Business/Professional Skills

Supports the performance appraisal process

Supporting Benefit and Wellness initiatives

Supports engagement initiatives such as associate roundtables, survey focus group meetings and associate committees


QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED


2 years HR Manager experience

Overnight travel (less than 10%)


PREFERRED


Multiple years of Employee Relations or Human Resources experience

Strong working knowledge of policies, procedures and laws

Working knowledge of MS Office including Word and Excel

Ability to manage and adapt to a changing environment and able to implement multiple tasks simultaneously

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others

High level of critical thinking and decision making skills
