This eCommerce Customer Category Manager (CCM) role will lead the Clif business with responsibilities for delivering sales and market share growth targets. Amazon is a strategic customer with key responsibilities to include joint business planning, Amazon negotiations, P&L management, and day-to-day management.

To win on Amazon we must perfectly execute the Flywheel. This role will work cross-functionally to ensure the Flywheel is executed. This includes ensuring Amazon has optimal assortment, adequate supply, clear content and key marketing as well as merchandising activities to drive sell trough.

Main Responsibilities


Lead Amazon strategy and day-to-day business planning with the customer to hit sales targets: lead weekly/monthly customer meetings and business reviews, execute plans with Vendor Managers or through Vendor Central, support Amazon requests.
Own the sales forecast and associated trade budget via trade management system.
Partner with the supply and demand planning teams to secure inventory for critical items. Provide item-level sales forecast to support supply and production planning.
Provide updates to team leadership on competitive activity, both at the account and in the market, customer specific strategy changes, key marketplace updates and other business-related activities.
Manage new item sell in, launch and distribution
Responsible for the digital shelf to monitor “what’s working” and/or “where we have opportunities” and reaches out to those key stakeholders on how to respond.
Partner with the marketing team to ensure content, search, merchandising & media drive business growth.
Weekly, monthly sales and business reporting.

More about this role


CCM experience preferred
Minimum of 4 years of general business experience.
Minimum of 2 years of sales/marketing experience.
Digital Commerce and/or Clif brand experience preferred
