As an Operations Manager , you will be collaborative and inclusive in helping our customers while leading a fun, team-oriented retail culture. Your team will have the customer’s needs in mind helping them with products and solutions while being accountable for total store operations, exceptional customer service, and merchandising activities.

Compensation based on qualifications and experience. Hiring immediately
Annual salary equivalent to $58,000-$60,000 based on a standard 45-hour work week

Provide strong leadership in community, customer service, and team development.
Ensure that the store culture embodies Staples values and its commitment to the community
Promote a consultative and customer centric environment primarily focused on small business customer’s needs
Lead and develop a high-performing team focused on a culture of exceptional service, consultative selling and total solutions
Empower your team to learn, grow and deliver through teaching, coaching and inspiring
Play a leadership role in helping your store, your people and your customer win.
Execute operational responsibilities, such as In Stock For the Customer, planogram integrity, and inventory management
Drive profitable sales and margin by fostering a sense of urgency in others to achieve their work
Assist in associate development and lead a team committed to operational excellence
Be flexible to perform merchandising, operations, maintain a clean store, other duties as assigned
Share responsibility for the “Manager on duty” program and all Sales driving initiatives
Qualifications
Essential skills and experience:
Able to work a flexible schedule (including nights and weekends)
2 years store management experience in a retail environment or service industry
Experience leading a team and/or supervising others
Must be able to engage and speak to customers and understand their needs
Collaborate and work with other team members
Ability to lift/move materials in the 10-50 pound range, climb ladders, stand and walk continuously
