The Omnichannel General Manager oversees the operations of a store within a micromarket with lower customer counts and assets. They support the customer experience by effectively utilizing their network of stores and fulfillment assets within the location. This role creates opportunities in the consultation and design (C&D) space as well as other customer connections across the market. The General Manager delivers omnichannel experiences through all Best Buy touchpoints including store, home, and digital.

Key Responsibilities

Drives a positive customer experience by building relationships, exhibiting empathy, and providing solutions to their current and future needs.

Drives end-to-end execution of employee experience, customer experience and financial outcomes within the store.

Provides leadership, coaching and development to ensure execution of strategy and performance.

Creates a culture grounded in diversity, inclusion, and belonging.

Recruits, hires, and retains a diverse workforce where each employee feel valued, safe, and included.

Develops marketplace strategies and communicates their vision to direct reports in an actionable and digestible way.

Applies micromarket insights to meet the needs of the customer and employee.

Basic Qualifications

3 years of experience as a supervisor or manager in business, military, or other fields

3 years of experience managing and reviewing operational expenses and revenue

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in retail leadership, consumer electronics, or related fields

Prior experience in multi-unit business operations
