A role within Roundel is an opportunity to be part of a strategic priority business for Target. Roundel is Target’s entry into the media business, a sell-side business built on the principles of first party (people based) data, brand safe environments and proof that our marketing programs drive business results for our clients. The Program Management team is comprised of digital marketing experts with a deep understanding of Target creative guardrails, operations and the guest experience. They will steward the brand, drive end-to-end process management ensuring on-time delivery and operational excellence. As a Lead Guest Experience Management, you will develop and execute e-commerce experience strategies, from top to bottom of the funnel, with an eye on both driver and destination. Here, you’ll apply your expertise for digital merchandising, guest experience development and curation. Bring your grasp of online testing, data and analytics to ensure that the guest experience online is as convenient, intuitive and satisfying as can be. As a Lead, Guest Experience Management you will be responsible for:
Experience. Develop seamless and inspirational digital strategies for top priority Roundel brands and global events. Lead execution in close partnership with internal clients and stakeholders. Optimize complex digital strategies for Roundel brands that focus on conversion, maximizing guest engagement, and frictionless shopping. You'll employ tactics including but not limited to site taxonomy and attribution management, traffic analysis, navigation, facets, and internal search.
Content Strategy. Plan brand-building, category-optimized site content. Oversee and drive the development of short and long-term guest experience strategies. Take complex business priorities and distill them into guest-centric experiences. Provide business context to creative teams for execution, ensuring content is revenue-driving, on brand, and impactful.
Analytics. Monitor, understand, and utilize data and key metrics from multiple and varied sources (devices and platforms, guest behavior, market trends, and competitive insights) to optimize short-term performance and to inform long-term strategies. Provide and present in-depth insights to partner teams, identify performance opportunities.
Cross-Functional Partnerships. Establish strong cross-functional and cross-channel partnerships across Roundel, Target and externally. Influence and leverage other teams within the broader organization.
Other responsibilities included in this position include contributing to the ongoing execution of guest experience roadmap, such as gathering and analyzing data, presenting results and making recommendations. About you:
4 year college degree or equivalent experience.
8 years’ experience in Site Merchandising, E-commerce, User Experience, and/or Retail.
Deep business acumen with an entrepreneurial, revenue-generating mindset.
Must have strong technical acumen and creative sensibility.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including demonstrated ability to share actionable recommendations in a concise and persuasive manner.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including financial and business metrics.
High level of initiative and organization, with the ability to manage ambiguity, risk, uncertainty and changing directions.
Demonstrated experience in strategic and cross-functional influence, planning and execution.
