GENERAL SUMMARY
The Manager of Strategic Testing is responsible for promoting and guiding the use of test and learn approaches and the Applied Predictive Technologies (APT) tool across the DSW brand (Stores and eCommerce). Collaborating with partners across the business, the Manager will assist in the design and execution of tests along with gathering, interpreting and presenting results. The entire process depends on detailed data that must be evaluated, compiled and provided to APT.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the design and management of tests for the DSW brand, leveraging the APT tool to establish test versus control setup for each
• Identify statistically significant aggregate lift of tests and analyze trends and impact over time; understand where the initiative is having an impact
• Lead the Test & Learn Steering Committee by compiling and presenting testing results to senior leadership and by building consensus around how to prioritize future tests, thus optimizing the organization's testing capacity
• Manage the testing capacity and future testing pipeline to ensuring tests don't conflict, thus polluting the results
• Collaborate with partners in the develop of new testing ideas that support key business initiatives and optimization of business results
• Leverage information from APT to contribute to regular business analytics/reporting, most notably on Monday mornings
• Serve as and build out in-house expertise and power users of APT software
• Regularly meet with business leaders and their teams to help leadership teams understand the core principles and methods of test and learn

REQUIRED SKILLS
• Present excellent leadership, communication, organization, and analytical skills
• Ability to interact and drive change across multiple areas, as well as, multi-task several projects and initiatives in a changing environment
• Ability to identify inefficiencies, recommend, and implement solutions to improve operations
• Strong Collaboration skills to build solid, trusted relationships with analytics teams and business leadership
• Ability to work under moderate supervision to determine and develop approaches and solutions to complex problems
• Experience in sales forecasting and analytics
• Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel
EXPERIENCE
• 5-7 years of related experience
• Experience using APT software; desire and ability to understand at each step the task the software is performing to be able to confidently answer any questions business analysts or leadership has about the process or results
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• MBA is valued but not required
EDUCATION
• Undergraduate majors preferred: Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics
