King University is seeking a part-time Lab Coordinator for the Biology Department for approximately 25 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will have familiarity with standard lab equipment, dilutions, and mixing solutions. Prior teaching experience and familiarity with research in biology is preferred. A Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field is required.

Responsibilities:

The Lab Coordinator primarily assists with set up, break down, and instruction of Anatomy & Physiology Labs and instruction of the General Biology Lab. The Lab Coordinator will also provide support to the department’s research labs by assisting with undergraduate research students, teaching common lab protocols, and assisting in ongoing projects within the lab. The Lab Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining an inventory of departmental chemicals, the safe disposal of chemicals and tissues, coordination of order and receipt of departmental supplies and materials, and assisting with daily tasks and maintenance.
