Purchasing Coordinator will be the liaison between field

operations and vendor relations to support pharmaceutical ordering and

procurement. This role will be a central support system to ensure the delivery

of necessary supplies to all Vet Services Business Units. Responsibilities will

include direction communication between field managers and vendor

representatives to secure product lines and purchase order data. An ideal

candidate will have previous pharmaceutical experience and interface with

contacts with emphasis on company interestsKnowledge of veterinary hospital operations and

prescription products. Ability to maintenance set catalogue, seek alternatives and

maintain vendor relations.Manage the database infrastructure supported by Oracle RMS and EDW.Duties and Responsibilities Direct

communication with hospital and field leaders to inform of any updates or

changes to product supplies and shipments. Perform

internal customer service support with vet services operational leaders. Resolve and

maintain hospital purchase orders through collaboration with vendors or

internal business units. Prepare and complete reports on category

and/or product performance to evaluate supply levels and PAR adjustments. Build out

processes to optimize pharmaceutical ordering and inventory management. Independently prioritize and accomplish

multiple tasks within established time frames.Special

may include sitting for prolonged periods of time, observing functions upon a

computer screen, and speaking to field partners/supervisors.

bachelor’s degree is preferred, high school or GED required.

Previous

ExperienceExperience

with retail management systems, Oracle platforms or MicroStrategy. Proficient

with Microsoft Suite of applications.
