BASIC PURPOSE: As the SAP BASIS Administrator, the successful candidate is responsible for managing and coordinating BASIS Administration practices to support the Love's companies.  The candidate will be capable of managing and maintaining multiple SAP systems.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

*        Manage the propagation of system changes throughout the SAP landscape. *Work with architecture team and the Manager to develop secure, stable, and scalable solutions that meet customer commitments and IT department goals. *Communicate project status to BASIS team leadership and provide insight on any current and upcoming issues. *Collaborate with project managers and business analyst to ensure project is on track and also to resolve issues and provide root cause analysis for defects.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

*Education:

*Bachelor's degree in Business with MIS or technology related degree (C.S.).

*Experience:

*5+ years of experience as a Basis Administrator *Experience with full life-cycle implementations *Preference will be given to individuals having productively implemented PI/PO 7.4. *Experience in monitoring and resolution of ABAP dumps and database locks *Experience in system tuning *Ensures that information SAP Basis administration is a critical and high priority design requirement in all new IT initiatives, application or infrastructure related and provides SAP Basis and Database. *Experience in Kernel updates, support package application, plug-ins updates, landscape management, transports, printer setups and troubleshooting, etc.). *OSS notes research, message posting, Notes applying and forwarding SAP *Work closely with the other Infrastructure team members to communicate clear requirements on what is required for BASIS from an infrastructure perspective. *Support Service Level Requirements *Develop documentation and procedures *Understanding of the SAP's ASAP methodology *Strong focus on Customer commitment, work with least supervision and a Go-Getter attitude. *Experience in cloud migration (AWS preferred) is a plus. *Experience installing and maintaining SAP ECC, SAP HCM, BI/BW, BOBJ, BODS, SAP Process Orchestration ( PI 7.4), SAP Transportation Management (TM). *MUST have experience in HANA, SLT, SDI, SDA. *S/4 and BW/4 experience a plus *Ideal Candidate should have SolMan management experience (ITSM, CHARM, Technical monitoring) and Root cause analysis. *Experience in Tableau, OpenText is a PLUS. *Experience in system tuning of ABAP and JAVA systems.

*Skills:

*Provide Root Cause Analysis *Excellent verbal and written communication skills *Ability to anticipate issues for potential solutions and provide workarounds. *Ability to find root causes of outages or issues quickly.

*Typical Physical Demands:

*Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. *Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator. *Requires normal range of hearing and vision. *Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
