GENERAL SUMMARY: This role is responsible for planning, execution, and leading visual projects under the Manager of Store Initiatives. In addition, this role will assist in project documentation, establish collaborative relationships with cross functional teams, and will resolve roadblocks that hold up project implementation. This role will represent our stores organization and the in-store customer experience throughout all workstreams.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
*Assists with maximizing customer interest, reaction, and expectations in store by setting up visual experiences and creating visual documentation for stores *Creates project plans and supporting documentation for all new initiatives such as new store designs, capital projects, shop in shops, etc. *Manages and provides updates to the Transformation Management Office on a weekly/bi-weekly basis for all TMO based work that the visual merchandising team is responsible for *Manages inventory flow and sales reporting that support all visual initiatives including our new store design concept *Acts as a liaison between cross functional teams and visual operations and merchandising. Supports and helps operationalize all projects *Recommends creative assets to be used in various visual projects *Aids in the development of in-store marketing and evergreen sign kit strategies *Manages all shop in shop and brand partnerships to ensure proper communication and documentation is provided to stores and cross functional teams in timely manner *Demonstrates business acumen when taking an initiative from design to implementation and eventually scaling an initiative *Maintain a clear focus on the needs of the stores; solicit feedback and drive improvements through strong working relationships with field leaders and store managers
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
*Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas *Strong organizational skills and ability to articulate, analyze metrics and influence results *Able to prioritize multiple projects and workload effectively *Proficient with technology including and not limited to MS Office and Adobe Suite (InDesign and Photoshop) *Be strong team player with ability to work with Stores and Field leaders *Strong customer focus with demonstrated success in project management, teamwork, adaptability, and decision making *Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple activities simultaneously with fast paced deadlines *Must possess a growth mindset *Moderate travel required to ensure new initiatives and business models are being executed and set up for success. *Ability to communicate to all levels of leadership *Takes accountability for decisions and actions
EXPERIENCE:
*Minimum 3-5+ year's retail experience. *Background in corporate visual merchandising is preferred *Creative or graphic design skills are preferred *Strong project management background focusing on process and experience implementation *Excellent communications and interpersonal skills *Strong analytical and process skills *Strong project management skills in developing and implementing process *Self-motivated with ability to drive projects with little supervision
