Responsibilities include designing and implementing budgeted strategies and goals, in order to publicize the product and achieve revenue growth. A retail advertising professional should prepare materials for the promotion and sale of products. Promotions can be done in the form of event management, interactive advertising, workshops, conferences, and direct contact with customers. A retail advertising professional should establish and maintain contacts with dealers, distributors, and advertising agencies. Coordination with other departments’ viz. graphics, finance, and research is also required.A retail advertising professional should have a bachelor’s degree along with prior experience in advertising and management. Excellent communication and leadership skills are required. A retail advertising professional should have flexible working hours and traveling schedules. A retail advertising professional should have the ability to make presentations and work on different projects simultaneously.
